How much thought have you put into your videographer? Personally, when Jeremy and I got married last year I didn’t think too much about it. Instead, I put more emphasis on my photographer. I was of the mind that my pictures are the most important thing (and us looking good in them!) and that’s where I should put my money. It’s no secret to those that know me that I’m a picture fanatic and my wedding would have been ruined without an awesome photographer to document the day for us.
Flash forward to a little over a year later–it goes by so quick–and now I’m wishing I had spent a little more time worrying about a videographer. On our one year anniversary I would have loved to watch our special day play back with an overlay of a beautiful song and snippets from the rehearsal dinner and reception toasts. Needless to say, we have a self-produced video of just the ceremony. That works for the most part to have the vows captured, but it’s definitely not out of this world or tear-jerking.
So…when I came across this company in California it made me a little sad that we didn’t have someone make a video like this of our wedding, but happy at the same time that I can share this idea with others. Jeremy and I have 7 (yes 7) weddings to attend–already–next year. I hope that these happy couples take my advise and invest in a great videographer for their wedding day! 🙂
Check out this link to Stillmotion Photo and Cinema. They are phenomenal! I think I’ve spent 2 hours today watching a bunch of their weddings!! Here is one wedding embedded…but go to their site and check out some of the others.

Now, I know you may not want a full-on cinematic production like these guys present; however, you get the point that you’re going to want something SPECIAL to look back on so make your local videographer choices wisely!!
