Karen was too much fun! I knew I was meant to be her makeup artist when I walked in for the consultation to hear the whole new Dave Matthews Band record playing in the background. 🙂 And just like that, I knew we were going to click! Love, love, love Dave–because we’re on a first name basis.
Anyhow, not to be outdone by the bride, Karen’s whole wedding party was a blast when we got them ready in Wake Forest, NC. Her wedding photographer, Melissa Stallman of Wake Forest Portrait Shoppe, did an amazing job with Karen and Rex’s portraits at their studio after the ceremony. Because they are local they had the convenience of going to the studio (out of the heat) to get some awesome shots to cherish for years to come. Here are two of my favorites and one of me doing makeup on one of Karen’s maids.
