Inspiration:Holiday Inspired Day-to-Night Look

Hello MYD Beauties,

The time for Holiday Parties is fast approaching! It’s the time of the year everyone wants to look their best, especially to ring in 2017. But sometimes we don’t have time to sit down and spend more than 30 minutes to get ready. This look proves you can take any day look and transition it to a festive holiday party makeup look. The top left picture is my makeup from a 8 hour work day, the right is my completed look in less than 30 minutes.

I used the Anastasia Master Palette by Mario on the eyes, I used the base color from the day as my starting point. I applied “Claudia” over the lid and used “Lula” to blend out the edges in the crease. Using “Bronx” under the eyes on the lower lash line, I smudged it out with a pencil brush. Smudge a black liner over the top and bottom lash line. I applied a pair of false lashes, this is totally optional but, lashes make everything better!

After the eyes were done, I just “touched up” the rest of my face. I applied more bronzer, blush and a healthy dose of highlight. I opted for a nude lip color so the focus is the eyes for this look.

This is the time of year to celebrate and enjoy the season. Don’t fret over your makeup, because it’s just makeup, have fun and be creative!

Happy Holiday’s Beauties

xoxo
