Hi again MYD beauties!!
With Valentine’s Day falling on a Tuesday this year many of you may be wondering how you’re going to have time to get ready in between work & any evening plans you may have! It may be dinner with your significant other or just girls night out, but you still want to look your best! I’ve put together this very easy day to night Valentine’s Day inspired look that anybody can achieve!
You may not be used to wearing a lot of makeup, much less pink eyeshadow and a pink lip! But I’m encouraging all of you to step out of your comfort zone and have a little fun with your makeup this Valentine’s Day!
So, if you want to learn to achieve this look just keep on reading!
For the most part I did my face makeup how I normally wear it on a day to day basis. All I did different was use a cool toned pink blush! I used the color Cherry by Urban Decay, but any soft bubble gum pink will look great with this look! Now, for my eyes I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette to create both of these looks! I totally recommend looking into getting this palette. It has a great variety of matte and shimmer shades and would be great for spring and fall looks!
So, I started off by running the color Warm Taupe in my entire crease to have a good transition shade. I then buffed Buon Fresco on top of Warm Taupe, so again in my entire crease! After I used a small amount of Love Letter in my outer corner to give a little demention. To finish up I packed the shade Vermeer on to my entire lid and inner corner. A coat of mascara will tie the eye look together.
When I was trying to decide what lip color I wanted to use I was leaning towards a nude (of course). But, it’s Valentine’s Day! The perfect chance to break out your Barbie pink lip! So I’m wearing The shade Dream House a melted metal liquid lipstick by Too Faced.
Now, work is over and it’s time to rush to a dinner, party, or any event you may have planned! This may look like a totally different look, but I promise it literally three steps to get you to this look! So, starting off from the previous look all you have to do is take the shade Cyprus Umber from the same eyeshadow palette. You want to really focus this on the outer corner and buff it into the crease until about mid way. Then you can take any eyeliner that you like and make it a little more bold. You can add a wing if you want, it’s totally up to you! To finish this look I removed the pink liquid lipstick and put on another liquid lipstick. I think a red lip will be perfect for any evening event you are going to.
I hope you enjoy these two looks and I would love to see if you try them out!! So just make sure you send us pictures or tag us with #mydbeauty on social media if you try these looks out!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
XOXO, Caitlynn
