Hello MYD Beauties!
Everyone has mornings when they only have 5 minutes to get ready and out the door. For me, that is almost every morning. With a little one that needs to be at school on time, getting myself and him ready and out the door, 5 minutes is all I have in the mornings. Being the makeup junkie that I am, I always love to wear makeup and I have found my perfect “5 Minute” makeup look.
First step, moisturize! As I get older, my skin has become more of a focus point for me, so moisturizing is a major key. Now on to my new favorite foundation, Hourglass Vanish foundation, it’s a stick foundation, which makes application super quick and easy. I always use concealer, under the eyes and around the nose, Tarte Shape Tape has been my staple for the past few months. Set the foundation and concealer with a powder. I have very dry skin, so most powders are a no go for me, but Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Cameo has been doing wonders for me. It doesn’t leave the “powdery” appearance on my skin.
Adding some warmth back in my face with Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion and a small amount of BECCA Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop, are my finishing touches to the rest of my face. During the week, I very rarely wear eyeshadow, but filling in my brows with Anastasia Brow Wiz and a couple applications of Buxom Lash Mascara are just the right touch. To finish the complete look, lip gloss is my savior during my busy mornings. I absolutely love NYX Butter gloss in Madeleine, it’s my perfect nude.
