When you think of a beautiful garden wedding, so many gorgeous ideas come to mind! In our world of beauty, there is always one thing that pops out in my mind for a garden wedding: BRAIDS! I must say that I personally as a hairstylist am a huge fan of braids for any occasion, but April chose the absolute best mix with choosing to incorporate braids into her wedding hair as well as her wedding party, and getting married in Duke Gardens. If you’ve never visited Duke Gardens, you must put it on your list! This is a wedding venue that is not just solely a wedding venue. (Perhaps I’m feeling extra mushy feelings for it since I am a Durham native myself and grew up visiting, but it’s so beautiful!) As you walk through the gardens you’ll see a vast array of wonderful flowers, water fountains, statues, bridges and of course wild life. We were so excited to get photos back of our bride April’s wedding, not only for how excited we were over the braids she had us do, but the gorgeous scenery she and Costa are submerged in for their wedding photos. We can’t help but wonder how long it took them to choose which photos to hang on their wall!
