Real MYD Raleigh Wedding: Sydney + Adam

The wedding we’re about to feature is so full of pretty!  In an intimate residential venue in Raleigh, Sydney + Adam exchanged vows.  Jen B and Rachelle had a wonderful time working with Sydney and her bridal party on the morning of their wedding.  Sydney was glowing all day and we adore her loose, textured updo and smokey eye makeup!  Enjoy the photos below by Carrie Coleman Photography.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this beautiful Raleigh wedding.  Please leave Jen B. and Rachelle some love below in the comments or on Facebook and Twitter!

Real MYD Wedding in Greenville, NC: Megan + Chase

We love holiday weddings, but this one in particular is very special and near and dear to my heart.  Our bride, Megan, is actually a friend of mine that I’ve known since she was a baby…literally.  Her big sister, Jessica, and I went to elementary school on up through college together (Go Heels)!  Megan and my younger sister, Nikki, went to school together and were roommates at N.C. State, as well.

While I was sorely disappointed that I couldn’t be at the wedding at Rock Springs Center in Greenville to work with Megan personally for her big day {I WAS able to do her bridal portraits, though!} I am so thrilled that we had Brenna on site to pamper Megan + 10!  Everyone looked absolutely stunning with airbrush makeup and they all beamed in their photos by Dana Jo Photography.  Enjoy more below!

Even in black and white Megan is radiant!  Please let us know what you think of this beautiful wedding in the comments section below or leave Brenna some love on Facebook or Twitter!

Real MYD Wedding in Angier, NC: Lisa + Wes

Please enjoy these beautiful photos from the talented Catherine Ann Photography!

Real MYD Raleigh Wedding: Katie + Nick

Our bride, Katie, was just beaming her whole wedding day!  She was such a pleasure to work with and we love her half up, half down hair style and clean, natural makeup that she chose while working with our talented mua/stylist Kristin.  We wish Katie + Nick the very best and look forward to working with Katie again in the future!

We hope you have enjoyed these images from A.J. Dunlap Photography and don’t forget to let us know your thoughts and leave some love for Kristin here in the comments or on our Facebook page and Twitter!

Sweet Violet Bride Editorial Feature for MYD

Once in a while our breath is literally taken away by images that photographers get back to us featuring our work.  As you can imagine, this is an awesome feeling and gives us much pride in the work we do.  We were fortunate enough to meet and collaborate with Heather Payne on a styled shoot set against a Biltmore backdrop.  We were so impressed with the vendors that came together for this outdoor shoot as well as Heather because she shoots everything in FILM.  Of course, that means things could go amazingly great (because she’d have to be THAT good) or less than favorable because we’d only get one shot at pulling it all off.

After you see the images below and the spread in Sweet Violet Bride that was featured in this month’s edition of their magazine, we’re sure you’ll agree with us that Heather definitely pulled it off and gave us more than we could have asked for with this breathtaking styled garden shoot!  Stay tuned for more images from the shoot tomorrow, too!  Enjoy!

Real MYD Chapel Hill Wedding – Kelsey + Charlie

Kelsey was an absolute joy to work with!  From the very beginning we enjoyed having her come in for her bridal portraits and sessions leading up to the wedding day.  It was very obvious that her wedding at the Carolina Club in Chapel Hill was going to be full of laughter and love.  We wish Kelsey and Charlie all the best and cannot wait to see what the future holds for this lovely couple!

Kelsey’s laugh is infectious and kept her whole bridal party in a great mood all morning while getting ready.  Don’t you just love that red lip?!  Jen B had so much fun creating this smokey eye and bold lip combo for Kelsey’s big day.
Kelsey’s bridesmaids were stunning with their red bouquets and loose, textured updos.  Hair styling was provided by Jen H and Kristin.

Jen H did a beautiful job on Kelsey’s low, modern chignon.

Stunning exit for a stunning bride!  Leave us some love and your thoughts on Kelsey’s big day here in the comments or on Facebook and Twitter.  What did you think of her red lip and chignon?

Our hair stylist and makeup artist, Kerri, had a wonderful time working with Ketu.  What do you think of her beautiful, natural airbrush makeup and hair down?  Let us know your thoughts and leave Kerri some love here in the comments section or find us online on our Facebook page or Twitter!
