We love Neera’s matte brown smokey eyes and how the liner makes them look defined, but not overdone. She also has a flawless face and a beautiful natural lip. This look is really amazing on Neera and keeps the focus on her beautifully detailed attire.
Neera and Dave had the most gorgeous ceremony. Neera was absolutely breathtaking! We really enjoyed being apart of their very special day.

For pimples a great home remedy is toothpaste. If you find Benzoyl Peroxide to be hard and drying on breakouts, or if you are using that too frequently as an overnight remedy, try toothpaste one night instead. Toothpaste helps absorb the oil and will shrink the pimple over night.
In the morning, wash your face and dab some Visine on your pimple. Visine reduces redness in eyes by shrinking blood vessels, and the same will apply to your pimple. Although it won’t last all day, dabbing some Visine on your pimple will help reduce redness for a few hours.
It seems like common knowledge that tea bags in cold water can help with puffy eyes. If you use caffeinated tea, the caffeine will shrink blood vessels which will help reduce swelling and redness. The cold temperature with also soothe and de-puff eyes. Tip: Avoid using Earl Grey tea. The oil of bergamot in this tea may cause an irritation for people with sensitive skin.
To get rid of product build up in your hair, rinse it with apple cider vinegar. ACV will also give you soft and shiny hair by sealing the hair cuticle (this is why you should not use shampoo or conditioner afterwards, instead just rinse the ACV out with cold water). And added bonus is that ACV is a natural dandruff remedy!
For dry and cracked cuticles try soaking your fingertips in warm water. Then massage olive oil on them. This will help seal in moisture, plus prevent your cuticles from becoming dry because of cold weather, hand washing and just everyday wear and tear.

When planning your wedding, you may not have budgeted a professional hair and makeup artist yet. Hiring a professional makeup artist for your wedding day could be the best decision you make in your planning process.
Photography: Most people can do their own makeup well from the practice of doing it everyday, but very few people actually know how makeup is going to transfer to photography – this is why you need an expert. You want to look and feel your best the day of your wedding, and love the photos afterwards. Professionals will ensure that this happens for you through extensive knowledge of beauty photography as well as using different types of makeup to achieve your wedding look (such as airbrush makeup, various blushes, contouring and highlighting techniques, etc.).
Lighting: Professional makeup artists take into account a variety of lighting scenarios. A makeup artist will know what to do so that your makeup looks good in person, in photographs and in HD videos if you are in a church, in outdoor lighting, indoors or in dark venues.
Videography: Video is now shot in HD and therefore, makeup has to accommodate for this need to look seamless in high definition. This means that makeup needs to be much lighter weight so that it is undetectable to the camera. In high definition, colors show up much more vibrantly, versus in photographs or real life where color gets washed out. A professional makeup artist will know how to balance the mediums so that you will look flawless in real life and in high definition.
Longevity: is especially important on your wedding day. Your wedding day is the best day of your life, but it is also one of the longest days of your life. Professional makeup artists take into account that you will be getting ready long before your event and that your event will last for hours. Professional makeup artists have extensive knowledge on the right products to use, such as stains, setting sprays and special powders to lock in the color and make sure nothing fades throughout the day. This will ensure that you look just as fresh at the end of the reception as when you first walked down the aisle.
Comfort: Professional makeup artists will provide the option of having a trial. This is a great way to take your hair makeup for a test run. This will ensure that all of the colors look the way you want and that your hair looks exactly how you want it to. This will save time the day of by not having to make too many adjustments on your wedding day when you are on a strict timeline. Professional makeup artists will provide you with a beautiful, wearable look that won’t transfer onto clothing, whether it be onto your white dress, or guests when you hug them.
A wedding is an extremely special occasion. Once you get your photos back you want them to be something you cherish and look upon fondly. They will be your memories and what you show to friends, family members, and those that couldn’t attend your wedding. This is why it is important to make sure you look and feel your best.
It’s happened to all of us, the inevitable broken powder. That slow motion reel of the powder dropping to the ground and smashing everywhere. It’s probably your favorite, so you salvage as much of it as you can and continue to use the chunks. Sound familiar? Fret no more, there is a way to fix your broken powder!
To do this you will need.
– Your cracked powder in the pan.
– A clean, pointed object. (A cuticle pusher works well)
– Rubbing alcohol.
– Q Tip.
First and foremost, it is important to emphasize that your eyes are really sensitive, so while doing this, be sure that your hands and your tools are clean to prevent dirt and bacteria from getting into your eyeshadow.
Take your pan of cracked powder, and with your tool start breaking up all of the pieces. You want to break down the pieces until the whole pan is filled with loose powder.
Then take a small amount of rubbing alcohol in the cap of the bottle and slowly pour it into the eyeshadow pan. If you pour too much, don’t worry – the great thing about rubbing alcohol is that it evaporates. If there is too much you will have to wait until some of it evaporates to continue, so pour slowly.
Take your tool again and spread the rubbing alcohol around, when you are finished your loose powder should be more of a paste.
Leave it to dry for a few hours.
When you come back use your fingers to gently test to see if the powder is dry. If it is, take your tissue and fold it in half and then use your fingers to gentle pat down the top of the powder. This will pack it down and flatten the top.
Use a damp Q Tip to clean the lid and the edges of your case.
We recommend that you leave it overnight before using it again to ensure that it is dry. It will look like a completely new eyeshadow when you are done!
Pro Tip: To help prevent your powder from breaking, put a cotton pad or cotton ball on top of the pressed powder before you close it. The cotton should absorb the shock of any traumatic events and leave it in tact.
